WELCOME! Established in 1982, Human Factors North Inc. (HFN) is a
Canadian consulting firm providing ergonomics expertise to design work and workplaces based on human characteristics.
The goal is to prevent injury and improve performance and worker well-being. Areas of expertise include office and
industrial ergonomics, accessibility and universal design, healthy workplace design, software usability,
shiftwork, traffic safety, and accident analysis.
WHAT'S NEW:
- HFN and Navigats Inc. conducted a study of the environmental, economic, safety, and social benefits of roundabouts for Transport Canada. To read the Executive Summary, click here.
- HFN delivered a presentation to the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) entitled,
'Ergonomics and Human Factors Aspects of Universal Design'. This event addressed upcoming requirements for
Facility Managers to comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
